Northwest's Child is a nonprofit organization based in Western Washington, serving the needs of children, teens and young adults with moderate to severe disabilities. We focus on the vocational, physical, individual educational needs, social as well as the emotional needs of each student. Northwest's Child started in 1991 serving children ages 5+ with disabilities after school and full days throughout the summer. In 2004 we opened Aaron's Place (named after our former student Aaron Gleason) for our students who have graduated High School at age 21. Aaron's Place provides a full day full of purpose all while allowing each student to reach their own goals, whether it be educational, social, emotional, vocational or community based.
